Affinity Connection Books launched in 2020 as a natural extension of Affinity Connection’s marketing services, which boasts decades of success helping mission-driven organizations gain support and achieve their potential. Affinity Connection Books helps emerging authors create, curate, and perfect content that touches the hearts and minds of readers and inspires them toward meaningful contemplation and transformation.

 

Greg Woodman, CEO

Woodman leads a team of experienced writers, editors, and project managers to generate and share stories that build community and change lives. A prolific publisher and serial entrepreneur, he has founded numerous publications and promotional platforms, including Pennsylvania Business Central, Happy Valley Promotions, HappyValley. com, Blue-White Illustrated, Experience Happy Valley, and football annuals for Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, and Syracuse. He also created and sold the popular “Stand Up Joe” cutout of Joe Paterno. After an award-winning run as VP of Marketing for AIRWALK Footwear, he created Affinity Connection. Woodman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University where he serves as a lecturer on Entrepreneurial Leadership.

 

Jodie Dello Stritto, Content Strategist

Jodie joined the company in 2002 after nine years at two Pittsburgh-based advertising and public relations firms where she managed media relations, cause-related marketing and other programs for national and regional clients, including Mellon Ventures, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, the National PTA and the Center for Organ Recovery & Education. She introduced the integrated marketing audit into Affinity’s fundraising system which proved pivotal in honing effective content strategies and increasing donors and dollars for non-profit clients. Jodie will serve as lead content strategist.

 

Cara Aungst, Writer & Managing Editor

Cara has worked for Affinity Connection since 2000. She specializes in compelling storytelling and publication management that increases engagement for nonprofit and alumni groups. She is also a features writer for HappyValley Industry, which focuses on industry and innovation in central Pennsylvania.

 

Chris Buchignani, Client Services Consultant

Chris synthesizes his professional experience in market research, publishing, media production/distribution, and organizational leadership to provide strategic guidance on content development and marketing. He derives satisfaction from helping our clients build lasting audience relationships through telling memorable stories.
